Muscat: The Capital Market Authority (CMA) organised a workshop last week on charisma, presented by trainer Yousuf Al Hasni, international etiquette and protocol expert, with the participation of a number of CMA’s directors and employees.
The workshop was organised to acquaint the employees with the concept of charisma and modern communication methods, personality analysis and dealing with different persons, reactions and confidence enhancement exercises.
Nadyah Al Alawi, Director of the Department of Human Resources, said, “CMA is keen to develop human resources to upgrade their knowledge and aptitude to gain technical skills to perform their work. Hence, this programme was organised on charisma and communication methods between the employees and the public, as employees need charisma to make an impact on their work environment and the social life of the employees. She added that CMA is keen to provide training workshops for the employees for capacity-building and creation of an innovative work environment to contribute to the economic development of the country.”
It is noteworthy that CMA organises continuous training courses for the employees. Further training courses would be organised this year, including training on international protocol and the English language, in addition to in-house programmes presented by employees for the exchange of skills among the employees of the various departments, as well as individual courses for the employees in the Sultanate and abroad.
