
Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and at an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs left on Sunday, for Saudi Arabia to attend the military shows accompanying the joint exercise “Gulf Shield”.
Sayyid Badr is accompanied by Lt. General Ahmed bin Harith bin Nasser Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, the Sultanate’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a number of SAF officials.
Seeb Airbase
Sayyid Badr and his delegation were seen off at Seeb Airbase by Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), a number of senior officers at SAF and the chargé d’affaires at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia embassy in Muscat.
