Haitham promoted as Al Sulaimi chief executive officer

Muscat: Al Sulaimi Group Holding, one of the leading corporate houses in the Sultanate, on Tuesday announced the promotion of Haitham Mohamed Ali Al Fannah to the position of chief executive officer. The decision was taken by Al Sulaimi Group Holding board of directors at their annual general meeting last week.
Haitham has previously been serving as the chief operations officer for the group.
During the past 16 years at Al Sulaimi Group, Haitham has held a variety of leadership roles within the group. In this role, he will assume the overall responsibility for Al Sulaimi Group, including all lines of business.
Hamed bin Mansoor Al Sulaimi, chairman of Al Sulaimi Group Holding said; “Haitham has the passion and vision with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the engineering and trading sector. In the past as the COO of the group he has contributed seamlessly and successfully led the team which resulted in growth and success for all our group companies. We are very proud of his achievements and welcome him in his new role.”
Haitham Al Fannah holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri St Louis, US.
