The ceremony was held at Sheraton Oman under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, the adviser to His Majesty the Sultan.

During the event, there was a special film screening dedicated to His Majesty on the economic cycle and the importance of supporting Omani products (In-Country Value). Elaborate presentations of the company, its modest beginnings and transformation into the powerhouse it is today, followed. Later, the company launched three new products (medium voltage switchgear, control & relay panel, smart distribution packaged sub-stations), reinforcing its commitment to keep Oman’s economy developed, revitalised and recharged. Guests were also shown a dazzling performance by an Omani folklore band as part of the cultural entertainment for the evening.
Voltamp Energy Group of companies comprises three distinctive companies and one full-fledged independent division. Voltamp Power, the latest addition to the group with a green field facility located at Sohar, manufactures power transformers capability up to 500 MVA, 220 kV Voltage Class in International Technical Collaboration.
From its Rusayl plant, Voltamp Transformers Oman manufactures medium power transformers up to 10 MVA, 33 kV class, distribution transformers up to 2500 kVA, 33 kV class, Special transformers for oil & gas sector plus other special transformers including earthing transformers, hermetically sealed transformers and customised packaged sub-stations.
Voltamp Energy is known for manufacturing Low Voltage switchgear panels in partnership with Schneider, France. In addition, Voltamp Group has an Engineering Services Division (ESD) capable of reengineering, repairing and maintaining transformers and switchgear up to 500 MVA, 220 kV class.
