Oman's consumer protection agency wins global smart cities award

Muscat: Oman, represented by the Public Authority for Consumer Protection ( PACP) has won the COMPOLIS Award as part of six internationally renowned countries; Britain, Russia, Mexico, Indonesia and Mongolia.

The award comes within the international competition of smart cities innovations, organised by Taipei Computer Association.

The award would be given away during the activities of the Smart City Exhibition which would be held at Taipei city of Taiwan from March 27 to 30.
The award represents a new addition to the achievements of the PACP.
