Oman, Qatar to boost business ties

Muscat: The Omani-Qatari Business Council yesterday held a meeting on the sidelines of the Omani-Qatari Business Forum.
The meeting was organised by Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) in cooperation with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Omani side was chaired by Mahmoud bin Mohammed Al Jarwani, Head of the Omani side at the Omani Qatari Business Council while the Qatari side was led by Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Head of the Qatari side.
The meeting discussed means of enhancing business cooperation and increasing investments in farm and animal fields. The meeting also discussed the available investment opportunities to set up joint ventures that serve economy in both countries.
