Oman Aviation Academy gets new chief

Muscat: The Board of Directors of the Oman Aviation Academy appointed Captain Abdullah bin Murad Al Balushi as the Executive President of the Academy as part of the board’s strategy to support qualified national cadres for senior management positions.
Captain Abdullah bin Murad Al Balushi has extensive experience in the civil and military aviation sector for more than 20 years.
He worked for many local and international airlines specialised in the field of aviation, in addition to obtaining many qualifications and experience which enabled him to assume various senior positions during his career.
Oman Air Academy, based in Sohar, earlier announced that it will receive the first batch of training applications at the Academy in cooperation with Oman Air.
The first batch will start the foundation programme in March in cooperation with Sultan Qaboos University.
