Muscat: The Sultanate's policy towards education was praised by the president of the World Bank, at the recently held World Government Summit in Dubai.
In a speech, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim used Oman as an example to show how countries can improve the quality of education, referring to the Sultanate's policy from 2009 to 2015.
"The quality of speciifc programmes is very important. Oman, for example, from 2009 to 2015, has increased their educational spending and they saw their outcome quality improve. We need to do better... we need to get better outcomes," Jim Kim had said.
