Muscat: A total cash prize of OMR100,000 was awarded to 4 winners of the National Bank of Oman’s flagship Al Kanz savings scheme.
Under the auspices of Khaula bint Hamoud Al Harthy, CEO of Injaz Oman, the first draw of 2018 took place at the 18-hole championship course at Al Mouj Golf and was attended by NBO customers and representatives.
This year’s Al Kanz saving scheme programme promises to be the biggest in its 20 year history with 15,684 winners and a total of OMR3,251,000 prize money.
Driven by NBO’s customer-centric approach, Al Kanz is designed to promote a culture of savings by enabling customers to potentially win cash prizes and realise their financial goals.
This month’s draw saw four lucky account holders win OMR25,000 each while three bank and non-bank customers received OMR100 each from the instant draw. This new feature in the 2018 programme ensures that both anybody can be a winner.
January’s draw was extra special as it coincided with the Sultanate’s first PGA European Tour event: NBO Oman Open tournament at Al Mouj Golf. The Public Village was transformed into a fun filled wonderland to offer a range of entertaining activities including jumping castles and mini golf in addition to a selection of tasty food stalls.
