Muscat: Marathi Wing and Gujarati Wing recorded victories in the annual underarm cricket tournament of the Indian Social Club (ISC) Salalah.
A total of 16 teams are taking part in the tournament which was inaugurated by ISC Salalah chairman Manpreet Singh in the presence of
General Secretary Hridhya S. Menon, Sports Secretaries Ajith and Mr. Binoy P., and Cultural Secretary Ramesh Kumar.
“ISC has been conducting this underarm cricket for many years now and we are really happy that this time we have record sixteen teams taking part,” said club chairman Manpreet Singh.
In the inaugural match, Marathi Wing defeated Karnataka Wing by 29 runs.
In another closely-contested match, Gujarati Wing posted a five-run win over Kerala Wing B.
