Worker injured in industrial accident in Oman

Muscat: A worker has been rescued after he was trapped under a piece of fallen equipment after an incident at a plant in Sohar, Oman's Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) reported.
Referring to the incident, a spokesperson from the rescue agency said, "We inform you that rescuers were able to retrieve the worker and transfer him by ambulance to the hospital with a moderate injuries."
PACDA had earlier tweeted, "Report of an equipment failling on a worker in the Sohar Industrial Zone, rescue and ambulance teams from the authority in North Batinah governorate are at the site."
