Shura holds discussion on model fuel stations

Muscat: A committee of the Majlis Al Shura on Wednesday held discussion on establishing model fuel stations along the highways.
The Services and Social Development Committee at Majlis Al Shura, chaired by Dr. Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Yahya’ee, on Wednesday hosted officials from the Ministry of Housing, within the framework of its study on Establishing Model Fuel Stations.
The officials at the Ministry of Housing gave a presentation on the ministry’s vision about Integrated Rest Areas on highways.
The vision aims to identify sites for integrated services on highways that take into consideration conditions of setting up and operating fuel stations and include basic services for road users.
