Mercy mission: Oman airlifts injured civilians from Yemen

Muscat: Two Royal Air Force Oman flights between Muscat and the Yemeni capital Sana'a have airlifted injured Yemeni civilians to safety.
Flights from Muscat to Sana'a returned wounded Yemenis who had been successfully treated in the Sultanate, and later brought civilians injured in the ongoing conflict, according to the government news agency.
A statement on Oman's state news agency read: "In continuation of the humanitarian efforts of the Sultanate to deal with the situation in the Republic of Yemen, two flights of the Royal Air Force of Oman from Muscat to Sana'a were carried out during which they returned a group of Yemeni stranded and wounded who completed their treatment in the Sultanate, and transferred a new group of wounded Yemenis."
