Agriculture Minister discusses cooperation with Palestinian counterpart

Muscat: Dr. Fuad bin Jaafar Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, received on Wednesday Dr. Sufian Sultan, Minister of Agriculture in the State of Palestine, who is currently visiting the Sultanate.
The meeting discussed matters of common concern and cooperation between the Sultanate and the state of Palestine in the agricultural, animal and fisheries sectors, means of developing bilateral relations and joint cooperation in these sectors.
On the other hand, official meetings were held between the two sides, in which they expressed the importance of such meetings between the Sultanate and Palestine and their role in transferring expertise and knowledge, particularly in relation to agriculture, livestock and fisheries, which are the basis of the talks session, stressing at the same time more cooperation in agricultural and animal fields, and ways to develop them in the future and open up wider horizons to enhance cooperation between the two countries and exchange experiences and views.
