Blast near ‘Save the Children’ aid group office in Afghanistan

A blast went off outside the office of the ‘Save the Children’ aid agency in the Eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad on Wednesday, January 24, a provincial government spokesman said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the provincial government spokesman, said that the target was 'Save the Children', adding that he had no word on casualties but a clash was ongoing at the scene.
