Muscat: Outstanding batting and bowling by Suhail powered Khalsa United to a massive 113-run win against Majees CT in an F Division match at Muscat Municipality Ground IV.
Majees won the toss and opted to field first. However, the decision backfired as Khalsa amassed 233 for seven in 20 overs thanks to Suhail’s brilliant 33-ball 90 and Wajid Ali’s 53 off 36 balls. Akhil Nair and Ayman Ayaz bagged two wickets each.
Facing a huge total, Majees struggled to keep pace with the mounting run rate and could manage only 120 for eight in 20 overs. Openers Aneeq Jassim (32 off 32) and Bhuvana Kumar (24 off 14) were the only notable scorers. Suhail was brilliant with the ball too, taking three wickets for only nine runs while Arvind Singh claimed two.

OCT Al Hail B trounced OCT Al Nahdha by eight wickets in a G Division clash at Muscat Municipality Ground IV.
Batting first, OCT Al Nahdha posted 135 for seven in 20 overs. Mohammed Al Balushi (63 off 47) and Nadil Al Balushi (25 off 19) were the main scorers. Nadhir Ghulam took three wickets while Ahmed Mohammed bagged two.
OCT Al Hail B overhauled the target in 15.3 overs thanks to Adil Al Balushi’s unbeaten 45 off 30 balls. Khalid Rahim (27 off 29) and Nusrat Allah (25 off 18) batted well too.

Challengers beat TR Engineering
FHD Crazy Challengers rode on wonderful performances by Fahad Hamsa and Gopakumar Gopal to beat TR Engineering by six wickets in an H Division game at OAC Ground III in Al Seeb.
Batting first, TR Engineering scored 169 for nine in 20 overs. Shareef Al Balushi (48 off 34) and Asjad Mohammed (39 0ff 29) were the leading scorers. Gopakumar claimed three wickets while Sajith Chenganassery bagged two.
It took Challengers only 13.2 overs to chase down the target, scoring 170 for four thanks to Fahad Hamsa’s 23-ball 56. Shaikh Akbar (43 off 19) and Dipu Ramachandran (29 off 18) made valuable contributions too. Asjad Mohammed took two wickets.
