Washington DC: President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump address the American public in a Christmas greeting video, saying the holiday is a time to celebrate the miracle of Christmas. The White House released a Christmas greeting video from President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump on Monday (December 25). "Melania and I are delighted to wish American and the world a very merry Christmas," Trump says in the video as the couple sit in front of a Christmas tree. In the video, the first lady speaks about the values embodied during Christmas. "We see families reaching out to neighbours in need," she says. President Trump then quotes from the Book of Isaiah. "For to us a child is born, for to us a son is given. And the government shall be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
