38% dip in small and medium enterprises in Oman

Muscat: There has been a 38.1 per cent decrease in the total number of small and medium enterprises at the end of November 2017, the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) announced.
According to NCSI data, “31,383 were the number of small and medium enterprises registered with the Public Authority for SMEs Development (Riyada) until the end of November 2017.”
“38.1 per cent is the decrease in the number of small and medium enterprises at the end of November 2017 compared to November 2016,” NCSI announced online.
