Weather forecast: Rains predicted in parts of Oman

Muscat: Rains along with chances of occasional thunderstorms are predicted in the Wilayats of Khasab, Rustaq, Sohar, and Buraimi today (November 26), the Public Authority forCivil Aviation (PACA) has announced.

According to PACA's statement, "Clear to partly cloudy skies [are expected] over Musandam and parts of North al Batinah and al Buraimi with chances of isolated rain and occasional thundershowers.

"Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate [are forecasted]. Chances of cloud formation and isolated rain [are predicted] over the al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas towards the evening, which may extend to the coastal areas of Oman," PACA added.

Low-level clouds and fog could also form towards late night and early morning.
