Plane crash at Duqm Airport — but it's only a test

Muscat: If you hear sirens around Duqm Airport today, don't be alarmed. Officials are staging a mock plane crash to test responses.
Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) is conducting a response exercise, simulating an aircraft crash at the airport, in collaboration with Royal Oman Police (General Directorate of Operations and General Directorate of Airports Security) Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance, Duqm Hospital and Hima Hospital.
In an announcement, OAMC said the emergency exercise will take place today in between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.
