6.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Colombia coast

Bogota: An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale struck off the Colombian coast on the Caribbean Sea on Sunday. The Euro-Mediterranean Earthquake Centre said that the quake occurred 36 kilometres south-east of Columbia, at a depth of 10 kilometres, pointing out that no tsunami warnings, casualties or material damage registered so far.
