Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) has denied rumours of a person being killed in Shinas.
In an online statement, the ROP said, "There is no truth to what is being circulated through social media about a killing in Shor Al-Mazaree in the Wilayah of Shinas."
Rumours of foul play had been circulating on social media but an ROP spokesman clarified that the death was the result of natural causes.
