Sayyid Fahd conveys HM’s greetings to GCC leaders

Kuwait: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, arrived yesterday in Kuwait to take part in the two-day 38th GCC Summit.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait received Sayyid Fahd and his accompanying delegation on their arrival.
In a press statement, Sayyid Fahd said: “It is a great honour for me and my delegation - on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said - to chair the Sultanate’s delegation at the 38th GCC Summit and to convey the greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the GCC leaders and their representatives along with His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of success for the 38th GCC Summit in reaching the desired results for the GCC march.” Sayyid Fahd and his delegation were also received by Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah , Crown Prince of Kuwait; Sheikh Jabir bin Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait; Dr. Salim Al Jabir Al Ahmed Al Sabah, advisor of the Council of Ministers who is also head of the honour delegation and a number of officials.
Sayyid Fahd is accompanied by a delegation comprising Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs; Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications; Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Legal Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd Al Said, assistant to secretary general at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; Dr. Adnan bin Ahmed Al Ansari, the Sultanate’s ambassador to Kuwait; Abdullah bin Khalfan Al Balushi, Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; Dr. Mohamed bin Awadh Al Hassan, assigned with the duties of the undersecretary of the foreign ministry for diplomatic affairs and Mohamed bin Nasser Al Wahaibi Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry.
