Oman Vision 2040 Main Committee reviews project strategy, progress

Muscat: A summary of the communication strategy for the "Oman Vision 2040" and the involvement of stakeholders was among the topics reviewed at a high-level meeting on Wednesday.
The Main Committee on the Future Vision "Oman 2040" on Wednesday held its fifth meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture under the chair of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture, Chairman of the Committee, in the presence members of the Committee.
The Committee reviewed the meeting agenda, which included the stages of preparing the Future Vision "Oman 2040", progress of the project, and preparations for the Future Vision Symposium and Scenarios Workshop scheduled to be held in December 2017.
The Main Committee reviewed a summary of the communication strategy and the involvement of stakeholders, asserting the importance of broad community participation in the formulation of "Oman 2040" Vision.
The Committee adopted a number of necessary decisions and recommendations on the agenda items.
