Worshippers ranging from 5 to 72 years old are among those killed and wounded when a gunman opens fire in a small town church outside San Antonio, Texas.
The latest mass shooting in the U.S. has struck the small town of Sutherland Springs, Texas outside San Antonio.
Members of the First Baptist Church were in the middle of their Sunday morning worship service when a gunman walked in and opened fire.
By the time he stopped, 26 people were dead and two dozen more injured.
The youngest victim was only five and the oldest 72, according to officials.
Among them--the 14-year-old daughter of the church's pastor, according to local media.
President Donald Trump, who's on a 12-day-trip through Asia, said on Twitter, "May God be with the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas."
He added that he is monitoring the situation from Japan.

Texas Governor Gregg Abbott called it an "evil act" and called on all Texans to pray for the tiny community.
Police say the gunman was found dead in a neighboring county.
They described him only as a white male in his 20's. But media reports identify him as Devin Kelley, a military vet from a nearby town.
They say he was armed with what appeared to be an assault rifle.
It comes on the heels of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.... When a man armed with assault rifles killed 58 people at a country music festival in Las Vegas. It will become part of the continuing debate over gun laws in the U.S.
