Royal Office minister receives senior UK defence advisor in Oman

Muscat: Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of Royal Office received in his office on Sunday Lt. Gen John Lorimer, the UK Defence Senior Advisor for Middle East, within the framework of his current visit to the Sultanate.
At the beginning of the meeting, Gen. Al Nu’amani welcomed the guest, who expressed his delight to visit the Sultanate. The meeting exchanged cordial conversations and discussed a number of topics of concern to the two friendly countries. The meeting also reviewed march of the good bilateral relations binding the Sultanate and the friendly UK to serve the joint interests, besides touching on several issues of common concern.
Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs also received in his Mu’askar Al Murtafa’a office yesterday Lt. Gen John Lorimer, the UK Defence Senior Advisor for Middle East and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Oman.
