Muscat: Sukhpreet Singh’s four-wicket haul and captain Jijo Abraham’s unbeaten 48 were the highlights of Moosa Abdul Rahman Hassan’s 101-run win against STS Tebodin in a D Division game at Muscat Municipality Ground III in Al Amerat.
With Moosa Abdul Rahman Hassan (MARH) team in trouble at 92 for five, Jijo scored a vital 48 runs, taking MARH to a fighting 168 for seven in 20 overs.
V. Ramesh (29), Samiullah (26) and Vishal Shetty (26) were the other notable contributors. Thirumavalavan Kaliraj and Krunal Kishor took two wickets each for STS Tebodin.
In reply, STS were bundled out for 67 in 12.1 overs. Amarnath Kasimayan top-scored with 22 off 15 balls. Sukhpreet was the main wicket-taker with four for 12 while Samiullah bagged two for 15.

Meanwhile, in an E Division game at Muscat Municipality Ground IV, Oasis Water walked away with vital points as OCT Maabelah forfeited the match.
Karthik stars for RAHRC
A hurricane 57 off 29 balls by Karthik Rajappa led Ras Al Hamra Recreation Club (RAHRC) to a 31-run win against Mehul Entreprises in an F Division match at Muscat Municipality Ground III.
Batting first, RAHRC compiled a healthy total, scoring 189 for nine in 20 overs. Karthik’s 67-run sixth-wicket partnership with Sujith Ramesh Babu lifted his side from 70 for four to 137 for five in 16 overs, paving the way for an amazing onslaught in the last four overs, which yielded 52 runs. RAHRC ended its 20 overs at 189 for nine.
Farhan Syed claimed three wickets while Hanif Jamaluddin took two.
Facing a big total, Mehul found themselves in serious trouble at 70 for five in the 12th over. Not even Donald Taylor’s fighting 79 off 48 balls could save Mehul as they could manage only 158 for ssix in 20 overs. Captain Imran Khan chipped in with an unbeaten 33.
Muhammed Altaf bagged two wickets.

In another F Division game, Khalsa United trounced NBO by six wickets, thanks to brilliant all-round show by Sushil Kadam and Suhail.
NBO failed to capitalised on their decision to bat first and could manage only 132 for eight in 20 overs. Saif Khan top-scored with 30 runs. Suhail and Sushil claimed two wickets each.
Khalsa United raced to their target in just 15.1 overs with Suhail (45 off 26) and Sushil (35 off 35) leading the way with fluent knocks.
