Muscat: Office of Majlis Al Shura held its 24th periodic meeting of the 8th session under the chair of Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali.
The meeting reviewed the proposal submitted by the Omani Real Estate Association concerning its request to reconsider the sales contract fees at the Ministry of Housing, especially when valuing personal residential properties that do not fall within the scope of real estate investment.
The Office also reviewed the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries on the request for a briefing on the project of localisation and dissemination of modern agricultural techniques. It also reviewed the reply of the Minister of Commerce and Industry on the electronic guide for doing business.
The meeting also reviewed the reply of the Minister of Health to the request on the reasons for not operating the laboratory attached to the emergency department of Khoula Hospital and the observation room in the same section.
The meeting also reviewed the reply of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises to the request on financing companies by the SME Development Fund.
The Office also reviewed the reply of the Minister of Housing on the issue of cash compensation for citizens whose property are affected by the project of Al Batinah coastal road.
