Off-duty officer saves choking man with Heimlich Maneuver

An off-duty State Trooper performs the Heimlich Maneuver on a man who was choking on his food at a Buffalo Wild Wings in New Jersey.
Off-Duty State Trooper Palaia performed a Heimlich Manoeuvre on a man who was choking on his food at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Rockaway Township, New Jersey on October 22.
The video, shared by New Jersey State Police on their Facebook page has been viewed over 440,000 times and shows Palaia immediately rushing to help the man, who showed signs of not being able to breathe.
The Heimlich Manoeuvre is a first aid procedure that involves wrapping one's arms around the waist of somebody who is choking, removing blockage in the throat by a series of abdominal thrusts.
