Oman Cricket: Al Hail T10 Super Cup off to a flying start

Muscat: Al Hail T10 Super Cup cricket tournament got off to a flying start with exciting first round matches at HCT ground in Mabella last Friday.
The draw of the tournament, which has attracted 20 teams, was held under the auspices of OCT Al Hail captain Ismail Al Balushi.
In the first match of the tournament Professional CT defeated OCT Mabela by 10 runs thanks to a well-compiled 27 from Pradeesh.
In the second match of the day, Trust Hydrotec defeated Ibrahim Al Kishri team. Batting first, Trust Hydrotec scored 81 for 8 in 10 overs. Deson top scored with 17 runs. In reply, Ibrahim Al Kishri managed 79 for six in 10 overs. Adnan was the top scorer with 18 runs while Shakeel from Ibrahim Al Kishri claimed two wickets.
Meanwhile, AKCT defeated Mott Mac team by 27 runs and qualified for the quarterfinals. Leighton ME defeated Yam Star XI by six wickets. Klair XI beat Beatrice CT by four wickets. In the last match of the day, Anjuman CT defeated Muscat Warriors.
The tournament is being sponsored Oasis Water, Pocari Sweat and Cricket Cottage.
