Youth most valuable asset, say members of the State Council

Muscat: A number of State Council honourable members affirmed that the allocation of a day for Omani youth embody His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s interest in this category of the Omani society.
They highlighted the support accorded to them by His Majesty since the beginning of the Blessed Renaissance. The youth were provided with education, training and rehabilitation opportunities. They added that work is also underway to provide youths with more opportunities to add to their knowledge and skills in all fields.
They highlighted the serious efforts to provide them with media immunity that ensures their cultural security by allowing them to read the Omani true heritage which help them face the negative effects of globalisation.
They believed the youths’ economic empowerment requires the collaboration of all public, private and civil society efforts. — ONA
