MEIDAM conference focuses on new developments in dermatology

Muscat: The second Middle East International Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine (MEIDAM) conference and exhibition was held in Dubai recently at Intercontinental Hotel Dubai Festival City.
The conference was aimed at presenting the latest developments in fields of dermatology, dermato surgery and aesthetic medicine from around the world. Prior to the conference and exhibition, an informative course and a workshop were held to give better insight on the subject to the participants.
Dr Khaled Al Nuami, president of MEIDAM explained that sharing knowledge and information with fellow colleagues and residents will comprise an exciting combination of lectures and practical workshops from a variety of school of thoughts and backgrounds.
Speakers from various countries from GCC, Europe, America and clinically experienced doctors shared their knowledge and experience in the field of cosmetic dermatology. Doctors from private as well as Ministry of Health, Oman made their presence and shared their knowledge with other participants.
Dr Shibu Mohammed, well-known dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon from Muscat who attended the conference explained that attending such conferences is very important because it helps in updating one’s knowledge and also to learn the new modalities of treatment available in the world.
Another participant, Ahamed Ezzat from Ego pharmaceutical company considered it a great opportunity to be a part of the Meidam exhibition.
