Bank Sohar supports Omani Association for Elderly Friends in Rustaq

Muscat: In its most recent contribution under the umbrella of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities ‘Sohar Al Atta’, Bank Sohar has recently extended its support for the fifth consecutive year to the Omani Association for Elderly Friends; and for the first time supporting its Rustaq Team. The recent donation will be directed towards the purchase of essential medical equipment for members of the association.
The donation cheque was handed over at Bank Sohar’s Mussanah branch to Yousuf bin Mohsen Al Lamki, Administrative Officer of Friends of the Elderly in South Batinah Governorate, by Mazin Mahmood Al Raisi, S. AGM & head of Marketing and Customer Experience, Bank Sohar.
Commenting on the bank’s contribution to the association, Munira Abdulnabi Macki, GM – HR and Corporate Support, Bank Sohar, said, “We always look for opportunities to continue improving the well-being of the Omani community. It has always been our mission from inception not just to operate as a banking institution but also to be a responsible corporate citizen and ensure that we are close to our communities. This commitment is underscored by our regular contributions that help non-profit organisations in their quest to develop better communities. With our most recent support to the Omani Association for Elderly Friends Rustaq Team, we are also underscoring our dedication to taking care of Oman’s senior citizens as they have served the country and the economy, and now it is our turn to take good care of their needs.”
