Oman health: Nizwa Hospital conducts its first neurosurgery procedures

Muscat: Nizwa Hospital doctors have conducted the hospital's first two neurosurgery procedures.
"For the first time, Nizwa Hospital, represented by the Department of General Surgery, was able to conduct two neurosurgery surgeries, in a new achievement for the hospital," a Nizwa Hospital spokesman revealed.
Recently, a rare tumour was extracted by a team of Omani doctors at Al Nahda Hospital.
The medical team for facial and maxillofacial surgery in addition to ear, nose, and throat surgeons at Al Nahda Hospital managed to remove a rare tumour from a patient. The tumour was attached to the skull cavity at the bottom of the temporal skull.
