Serial thief who stole from four governorates held by ROP

Muscat: A snatch-thief responsible for 14 offences across four different governorates has been arrested, police announced.
Royal Oman Police, in an online statement, revealed: "The Department of Criminal Investigation led by the police of the governorate of Ad Dakhiliyah arrested a person accused of committing 14 cases of theft in Muscat, South Al Batinah, North Al Shariqyah and Ad Dakhiliyah.
"The accused committed various robberies, including stealing women's handbags and a sum of OMR300," added the official.
In another case, The Department of Criminal Investigation in cooperation with officers from Izki police station managed to arrest two citizens who had loaded fuel from a petrol station in the state of Izki and then fled to an unknown destination.
"They were arrested after the driver of the vehicle committed the same offence in Sinaw," ROP said.
The defendants admitted to the crimes and were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the proceedings.
