Avenues Mall picks travel campaign winners

Muscat: To celebrate the end of the Sultanate’s summer holidays, Oman Avenues Mall – the Sultanate of Oman’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination – has announced the winners of the ‘Avenues to the World’ travel campaign, which took place from July 15 to late August.
The campaign offered shoppers at the mall the chance to win one of four family travel packages, which include round-trip tickets for 2 adults and 2 children, and an action-packed holiday, to the top international travel destinations of London, Hong Kong, Malaysia, or Paris.
Oman Avenues Mall is delighted to announce the following winners for each ‘Avenues to the World’ travel package:
London Package: Nada AlHooti
Hong Kong Package: Duraid Aljamali
Malaysia Package: Salah Maimoona
Paris Package: Yaqoob Alriyami
Each of the four travel package prizes includes entry tickets into top tourism attractions at the destination city, a 4 Star Hotel stay, city tours to explore popular landmarks and travel sites, as well as daily transport around the city, and an OMR100 shopping allowance per day.
Highlights for the London travel package include a popular hop-on hop-off Big Bus Tour; a visit to see the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace; as well as an exclusive tour of the UK’s iconic Aston Martin Factory.
In Hong Kong, the winner and their family can look forward to an urban adventure of a lifetime, while exploring the city’s famous night markets and many other popular travel sites around this thriving metropolis.
The Malaysia trip will include a visit to Kuala Lumpur’s Sunway Lagoon theme park, Legoland Malaysia, as well as a trip up the city’s over 450 metre-high Petronas twin towers – the tallest twin towers in the world.
For the Paris travel package, the winner and their family can look forward to visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower, as well as other famous landmarks around the city, including Europe’s most famous theme park – Disneyland Paris.
In addition to the ‘Avenues to the World’ spend-and-win travel packages, Oman Avenues Mall also gave away one Salam Air travel voucher worth OMR50, each day for the duration of the campaign. Travel-themed installations in main atrium and other parts of Oman Avenues Mall were also set up for visitors to enjoy.
