Muscat: Al Hayat International Hospital (AHIH), the leading healthcare conglomerate in the Oman, has launched its fourth medical centre at Al Ghubra, under its premium healthcare brand – Al Hayat Polyclinic, in Muscat.
The new polyclinic was inaugurated by Dr Mazen Al Khabouri, director general, Directorate of Private Health Establishments, Ministry of Health who was also the chief guest on the occasion. The polyclinic is a state-of-the-art facility offering a comprehensive range of specialities.
The doors have officially opened to the Al Hayat Polyclinic in Al Ghubra – a 600-square-metre facility located adjacent to Al Hayat International Hospital (AHIH), will supplement the hospital and will act as a specialised satellite centre to the hospital.
With the aim of providing quality healthcare to every neighbourhood, Al Hayat is rapidly expanding its operations in Oman. Al Hayat is a healthcare group, based in Muscat, Oman offering a full continuum of care through Al Hayat Group, which is comprised one multispecialty hospital and three polyclinics. Al Hayat International Hospital (AHIH) was awarded as the ‘Best Private Hospital in 2015’ and Al Hayat Clinic, Al Hail was awarded as the ‘Best Clinic in 2016’ by Ministry of Health, Oman.
The clinic has an innovative practice structure designed to give all families access to high-quality care at an affordable cost. Started with a vision to cater to the lower income groups, the new Al Hayat Polyclinic will help the residents by providing accessible, affordable health services with the same quality standards Al Hayat is known for. With the encouraging response, Al Hayat has experienced, plans are in place for the future upgrade of this polyclinic to a hospital.

P. Raman, chairman of Al Hayat International Hospital said during the grand opening event.

The facility, which is Al Hayat’s fourth Polyclinic, offers primary healthcare with services of General Physician (GP) clinic and speciality clinics like dermatology, ENT, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and dental. The medical staff at Al Hayat Polyclinic, Al Ghubra comprises full-time general practitioners, dermatology specialist, ENT specialist, orthopaedics specialist, obstetrics & gynaecology specialist, paediatrics specialist, and dentist.
The clinic consists of consultation rooms, primary facilities for sample collection, comfortable waiting areas and a full-fledged information kiosk with multi-skilled staff that are trained to deal with all the requirements of the insurance based and general self-paying patients or clientele.
Al Hayat Polyclinic in Al Ghubra is located on Al Marafah Street. The clinic will function from 9am to 1pm in the morning and 5pm to 9pm in the evening every day except on Friday.
