Municipality issued 3,001 new building permits in 2018

Muscat: Over 3,000 new projects have been greenlit in Muscat this year, adding to the city's commercial and residential diversity.
Muscat Municipality announced in a statement that it has "issued new building permits for 3,001 buildings until the end of October, 2018." This is added to permits for modification and expansion for older buildings.
The statement added, "Muscat Municipality offers online services for the issuing of permits, as well as the Baladiyati mobile application, which facilitates the ease and comfort of applying for building permits 24/7."
Futhermore, the municipality announced that it has paved 61 kilometres of inner roads in Seeb, Bausher, Muttrah, and Amerat.
