Oman weather: Heavy rain likely in Muscat

Muscat: Muscat is likely to witness heavy rain tonight, a top official from Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said.
“It is raining heavily in Al Khoud and other areas. Models shows that it will heavily rain tonight in Muscat till Tuesday morning,” Saeed Al Sarmi, the Head of the Research Centre from Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) told the Times of Oman.
“After a pause, it heavy rain is expected from Wednesday afternoon till Thursday,” the PACA official added.
Meanwhile, Public Authority of Civil Defense and Ambulances (PACDA) tweeted to public be cautious on its official twitter handle.
“Rescue teams are on alert,” the PACDA tweeted.
