Clean-up campaigns in full swing across Oman

Muscat: Municipalities around the Sultanate are continuing their efforts to maintain the cleanliness of residential neighbourhoods, by implementing a number of works.

Masirah Municipality said in a tweet: "The team for vector control in Masirah municipality began spraying residential neighbourhoods within the Wilayah."

The Masirah and Jalan Bani Bu Ali Municipality have also started removing waste and cleaning internal roads, residential neighbourhoods and beaches as part of efforts to preserve the general hygiene of the Wilayah.

The Municipality of Sur carried out "watering and cleaning in Taywi and its surrounding villages", the authorities added.
