North Korea conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on Sunday, which it said was an advanced hydrogen bomb for a long-range missile, marking a dramatic escalation of the regime’s stand-off with the United States and its allies.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday calling a meeting with top members of his national security team-- rushing to respond--after North Korea conducted its sixth nuclear test-the most powerful one yet Trump who was attending a National Day of Prayer for victims of Harvey-was directly asked by the press what he plans to do next.

And earlier in a series of tweets Trump posting this warning for Kim Jong Un: "The United States is considering, in addition to other options, stopping all trade with any country doing business with North Korea."
Pyongyang claims to have successfully detonated an advanced hydrogen bomb on Sunday, one that could be mounted on an intercontinental ballistic missile- putting the U.S. within the range of an attack.
Experts say tremors felt from this test in South Korea and Japan were around 10 times more powerful than those picked up after the last test a year ago. And just hours earlier the North also taunted its neighbours by releasing these images; claiming to show Kim Jong-Un inspecting the homemade weapon, which the regime boasts will have "great destructive power" and can be detonated at high altitudes.
This latest test-- sparking a strong global backlash .... Neighbors Japan and South Korea--- vowing to step up action against Pyongyang with stronger sanctions.
And China, North Korea's sole major ally, strongly condemning the nuclear test and urging the country to respect U.N. Security Council resolutions.
In the past few months, Pyongyang has increasingly put its destructive rhetoric into action, sending a missile over northern Japan and launching a long range missile capable of hitting parts of the US.
