Muscat: Partly cloudy skies over the Sultanate are forecast, with chances of clouds developing over Al Hajar mountains during the afternoon. Sur, Nizwa, and Sohar will see temperatures of 39, 27 and 32 degrees respectively.
"Low-level cloud or fog is expected over the governorates of Al Sharqiya, Al Wusta, Al Dhakiliya, and along most of the coastal areas, while cloudy skies projected over the coastal areas of Dhofar with intermittent rain," according to a statement from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.
The temperatures and weather around the Sultanate will vary from 34 degrees and sunny in Khasab, to 25 degrees and rainy in Salalah. In Muscat, the temperature will reach up to 33 degrees during the day and 27 degrees at night.
Sea winds predicted to be light to moderate along the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman, while along coastal areas of the Arabian Sea the winds will be moderate to light. The sea state in the Arabian Sea is expected to be rough, compared to Oman and Musandam seas which is expected to be moderate.
