Omani team visits Iran's Chabahar Port

Tehran: Led by Dr. Ali bin Masaud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, head of Omani side in the Omani-Iranian Joint Committee and Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport & Communications, a number of Omani businessmen visited Chabahar Port in Iran.
Oman is considering investing in the port and operating direct ferry service between Port sultan Qaboos and Chabahar Port. It is also considering establishing direct shipping lines between Port of Salalah and Port of Chabahar .
The delegation also visited the petrochemical industries area at the free duty zone.
