63.1 per cent rise in the number of commercial applications in Oman

Muscat: A rise of 63.1 per cent rise in the number of applications for trademarks, commercial licences and commercial agencies has been registered in the Sultanate.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has indicated that the number of applications for trademarks, commercial licences and commercial agencies in the first quarter of the year stood at 7,498 compared to 4,596 in the first quarter of last year.
The Ministry pointed out that the number of commercial permits during the first quarter of this year rose to 4,526 compared to 547 during the first quarter of last year.
