Kish Airline launches weekly Muscat-Bandar Abbas flights

Muscat: Starting this week, a new weekly airline connection between Muscat and Bandar Abbas, Iran, will begin operating.

The Public Authority for Civilian Aviation said, “Approval was given to Kish Airline to operate one weekly trip between Bandar Abbas Airport and Muscat international airport, starting from the 7th of August. Approval was given on the 3rd of August.”

According to Oman airports Management Company, Kish Airline was earlier only approved to fly from Muscat to Tehran. Muscat’s approval for this flight was announced in November, 2015. The first, celebratory Kish flight came from Kish Island, Iran
