Sayyid Haitham launches electronic management system for documents in Oman

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture launched on Tuesday the System for Management of Electronic Correspondences and Documents (Tareef) as part of the digital transformation plan of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.
The word ‘tareef’ has been used as the name for the system is used in the Omani local dialect to mean “message”.
The system aimed to replace paper work in order to save time and efforts and to enhance the performance.
