473 jobless Omani workers get re-employment

Muscat: Employment process for a number Omani workers, whose jobs had ended with the company they had been working with, have been finalised by the Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Oil and Gas, in cooperation with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).
At least 473 Omani labourers, whose services had ended with Ardiseis Company, were employed in different sectors of the oil and gas industry.
Twenty three nationals have not received a job because they did not use the job opportunity provided to them.
Job opportunities were given by different firms in the oil and gas industry, where both ministries, as well as PDO are striving to create right work environment for Omani job seekers in the sector.
They are also looking to study the abnormalities and challenges that responsible authorities in the oil and gas sector are facing in order to prevent these impacting the job market.
