Arab woman in Oman arrested for stealing jewellery

Muscat: A woman has been arrested for stealing OMR1,250 worth of jewellery, according to a statement by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The Department of Criminal Investigation, led by the Ad Dakhalia ROP, stated that the woman concealed her face and entered a shop in Wilayat Sumail.
"She managed to confuse the seller and steal an amount of gold worth more than OMR1,250," the ROP said.
The suspect was identified and arrested in the Muscat Governorate, and confessed to the crime during the initial period of the investigation. Her case has been referred to Public Prosecution.
