Two saved from fast flowing wadi in Oman

Muscat: Two individuals were saved from being swept away in a wadi, officials announced.

The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance managed to rescue two individuals who were being swept away by the waters of Wadi Mastal in Wilayat Nakhal.

The wadi recently become active due to rain, and interrupted traffic movement in the area, according to the ROP traffic department.

The two individuals were transferred to hospital for treatment.
