Oman lifts ban on imports of birds

Muscat: A ban on the import of birds has been lifted for several countries, officials announced.
A Ministeral Decision, 159/2017, has lifted a ban on the import of local birds, their derivatives and offal, from several countries.
Countries now free to export birds to the Sultanate are the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Ukraine, the Republic of Greece, the Kuwait, the Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Spain.
In addition to that, the decision added that the competent authorities shall implement this decision in all related fields of work.
